Housing projects Delayed pan India Over 25 percent Due to NCR According to a Property Consultant due to the worst performance of the developers in the capital region the real estate companies have not been able to deliver over 25 percent of their housing projects on time. Due to delay in the delivery of residential projects has become a big issue in the real estate market he says.
 The inventory levels across India have raised drastically due to delay in projects delivery says consultant. He stated different reason behind delay of projects. The reasons are like to complete the project developers are lacking behind the commitment and the capital, poor project management, and delay in the regulatory approvals.
 As per scheduled more than 25 percent of committed supply has not been able to reach the market due to average delay in delivering residential projects across India. He says in 2013 The National Capital Region’s performance was very bad in terms of delivering residential projects across all the main cities of India. In Gurgaon only one third of the total committed supply for 2013 has been delivered till now.

Statement says that in other NCR regions like noida only one fifth of the total committed supply for 2013 has been delivered. Due to disputes with regards to land acquisition in NCR region more numbers of residential projects in areas like Noida has been delayed. In the western regions like Mumbai and Pune there is much better performance in terms of completion of the project. As per scheduled delivery of the committed supply of 2013 these cities could deliver more than 40 percent. Due to delivery delays inventory levels have increased across India. The Pan India residential stock of inventory has reached the comfort level of 14-15 months.
